Ramadan Day 28

From this point on, the women are preparing for the Ide Seguir by cleaning house, and buying food. On Ide Seguir people wake up early and celebrate (like Christmas). The kids get up early and wake up their parents and they eat breakfast together. Many will put on new clothes and usually the men will then go to the mosque to pray. The family will take a picnic or stay at home and eat a lot with friends and family.

As Ramadan nears an end, many Muslims will feel relieved that this time of trying hard to follow all the rules is almost over. Many will feel like they grew closer to God. But undoubtedly, many many Muslims will be left feeling empty. The god they seek will bring nothing but suffering in the end. Please pray that over this next year, God will send followers of Christ into relationship with those feel lost and long for relationship with an all powerful God to love them. Please pray that during these last few days of Ramadan, Muslims will continue to hear from the one and only God.
